Chapel Market might have the winning trader

Three markets in the borough – Chapel Market, Exmouth Market and Whitecross Street – are taking part this year. Nominees can be vendors of any product or service, from fruit and veg to key cutting.

Voting closed last Friday, with nominations and the winning trader kept secret until the big reveal at the end of November.

Former victor Jeff Heller, who sells coats in Chapel Market, said “it meant a lot to me, because I work really hard at this. The feedback I get from my customers is fantastic, there’s no feeling like it.”

The winner receives £150 off their rent price, with the person who nominated them getting £50 to spend at their favourite seller’s stall.
