The event runs from 12-6pm on Saturday but the organisers of the event told me no more specific information about the timing of the race could be given. This is because the race will happen between 3-5pm depending on the mood of the athletes.
The goat race has been running for 10 years and takes place at the same time as its sailing counter part.
It is hosted at Spitalfields City Farm and hopes to raise awareness of the work they do as they rely on volunteers to help maintain the farm and gardens, look after the animals and assist in delivering projects.
