Horror-themed cocktails will be available this weekend on the Southbank.

The Safe House, a horror themed pop-bar, will be based on London’s South Bank, from January 25-26 offering a ‘real-blood’ cocktail.

The bar has been designed after a fictional post-apocalyptic Raccoon City based in the Midwestern United States, plagued with the “T-virus”.

Londoners will be able to rid themselves of the virus by drinking a “real-blood antidote”.

The “antidote” will be a cocktail that mixes dried pig’s blood with Plymouth sloe gin, Campari, Martini rosso and grendanine.

A spokesperson from The Safe House, assures that:

“The blood in the recipe is ethically sourced pig’s blood from a reputable wholesaler.  It is entirely safe for human consumption and used across the food industry for items such as Black Pudding.”

The bar will also serve blood-free cocktails, wine, beer and food.

Tickets for the horror based experience are fully booked but walk-in spots will be available on both days.
