For commuters, the beginning of 2017 has been a struggle. Transport For London have carried out strikes across the tube lines, causing major delays and disruptions to journeys.
The union Transport Salaries Staff’s Association (TSSA) have now said that they will not be taking park in the strikes which are planned to start next week.
However, members of the RMT (Rail, Maritime and Transport) trade union will strike as planned for 16 hours on 5 February, and then again two days later.
Although it looks like journeys will still be interrupted, it now seems that there could be further talks between the trade unions and London Underground.
