The board is currently trialled at the Shoreditch High Street Overground Station and deploys a red-amber-green code system, to inform passengers as to which carriages are the busiest in the train arriving next.
TfL’s director for Rail and Sponsored Services Jonathan Fox said that “as the popularity of the London Overground continues to grow, we want to make our customers journeys easier and more comfortable.
“It is part of our efforts to constantly improve journeys for our customers.”
