Michael Gove has reportedly “rejected” the job offer of Brexit Secretary.
It was allegedly offered to him amid fears he may quit the Government.
Theresa May’s leadership is under threat, after Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab and Work and Pensions Secretary Esther McVey resigned earlier today, followed by a series of other ministers.
Furthermore Mr Gove was said to have been supportive of Theresa May’s position at the emergency Cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
The PM is currently facing the threat of a no confidence vote over the Brexit deal, after the chairman of the eurosceptic European Research Group, Jacob Rees-Mogg, submitted a letter of no confidence to the 1922 Committee.
