Jess Phillips says ‘everything needs changing’ we need to ‘revolutionise the way our nations women feel safe.
In an extended interview for CityNews at a protest outside Parliament, Phillips remarked that violence against women and girls has “no geography, no class, no race, it is a men and women issue.”
She calls all of us to tackle this issue.

Ms Phillips condemns the government and its system saying that “the people who work in this fancy building, we have failed”, saying that they have been too slow to create legislation.
If Labour do win the next election she says this isn’t ‘something that is going to change in the first hundred days ‘ this needs a ‘fundamental systematic change’.
