A second man has been arrested in connection with the 1984 murder of Anthony Littler near East Finchley Tube station.
Anthony Littler, 45, was attacked after leaving the North London station in May 1984.
The Met Police arrested a 54-year-old man on Wednesday, who has been bailed until January. Another man, 58, was arrested on December 10 and also bailed.
Despite a renewed appeal for information, no one has been charged in the case.
Detectives believe Littler was murdered in a random attack, but the motive remains unknown.
The investigation, led by Det Ch Insp Neil John, is hampered by a lack of surviving forensic evidence. Detectives are relying on re-examining original statements from the case.
