The Pedicabs (London) Bill, which seeks to empower Transport for London (TfL) to regulate pedicabs in the capital, has been examined by the House of Lords.
The report stage is an extra opportunity for members to closely examine and modify elements of the legislation.
Amendments put down include government proposals that would regulate the excessive noise caused by the tricycle taxis.
It also allows the transport secretary to issue guidance to TfL.
These changes were agreed to without a vote.
Next Steps
The next step for the bill is a third reading. This provides a chance for members to make sure the eventual law will be effective and is without loopholes.
This is scheduled for Tuesday 6 February.
