A Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with sexual assault by touching over an alleged attack four years ago.
PC Muhammed Miah was charged following an investigation into allegations that he touched a woman inappropriately in January 2020.
PC Miah, who is based at the Central East Basic Command Unit, was off-duty at the time of the alleged offence.
The officer has been suspended from duty.
He will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on the 2nd of February 2024.
