Just Stop Oil protestors demonstrated on Waterloo Bridge last Saturday.

Just Stop Oil could be planning their own demonstration on Saturday, coinciding with Armistice Day and the pro-Palestine march.

When questioned about these claims, Just Stop Oil provided no clear confirmation or denial, despite their X post claiming ‘more will be marching to demand an end to new oil and gas’.

The pro-Palestine march organisers have been under pressure from the Met Police to reconsider the timing of their demonstration due to potential clashes with Armistice Day.

Concerns about violence and disorder have been voiced, but Human Rights body Amnesty International supports the crossover.

The controversial environmental activist group last demonstrated on Waterloo Bridge on Tuesday with around 50 participants. Onlookers reported that there was police intervention to maintain traffic flow.

The group hinted at the possibility of the Saturday protest on Tuesday, indicating that while some members will join the pro-Palestine march, others will march specifically to advocate for an end to new oil and gas initiatives.
