London Commuters have been left frustrated this morning as they have been blighted by delays.
A broken rail between London Paddington and Slough has disrupted Londoner’s rail services this morning with Great Western, Elizabeth Line and the Heathrow Express all affected.
National Rail engineers discovered the fault with the line this morning between Slough and Paddington meaning that the trains were limited to a reduced speed causing significant delays.
To add to the issues a number of signalling staff were taken ill this morning leading to a shortage of staff.
The Elizabeth Line is also affected with the fault on the line being in the Acton area causing severe delays according to the TFL website.
The Heathrow Express was initially suspended this morning but has now started to run a reduced service.
It was not just these issues that were affecting the network with the Piccadilly Line between Rayners Park and Uxbridge suspended due to significant leaf fall.
