An man armed with multiple knives has been arrested outside of Parliament.
A 34 year old man wearing home made armour and combat trousers has been arrested. He was taken away by officers in handcuffs in front of tourists who were visiting the famous London Landmark.
The man threw away a Union Jack and green backpack on the floor as he was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
A Met Police spokesperson has said “Police were called at 2.01pm on Tuesday, November 12 to reports of a man in possession of knives outside Parliament”.
No injuries have been reported.
