Barnet manager Martin Allen announced has left the League Two club in order to join Eastleigh.

Former Eastleigh boss Ronnie Moore departed the club for “personal reasons” on Wednesday.

Allen is credited for bringing Barnet back into the EFL in 2015 and the club’s chairman Tony Kleanthous said that “the approach came out of the blue.”

Kleanthouse told the BBC “it was quite clear that Martin had decided he wanted to take the opportunity Eastleigh were offering to him”.

A new manager for Barnet is yet to be announced.
