Tottenham Manager Mauricio Pochettino has promised his team will come back strong after their defeat 2-0 against Liverpool last weekend, even though star players Danny Rose, Erik Lamela and Jan Vertonghen are out of the match due to injury.
Pochettino was critical of his side’s desire during the weekend’s defeat at Liverpool but is not expected to make widespread changes.
Jan Vertonghen, Danny Rose and Erik Lamela are all sidelined. Georges-Kevin Nkoudou is also a doubt.
Harry Winks is pushing for a start while Moussa Sissoko will be hopeful he has done enough to move ahead of Heung-min Son in the pecking order.
Gent occupy eighth place in Belgium’s top tier and are unbeaten in their last four league games. The Belgian side qualified second in their Europa League group behind Shaktar Donetsk, with eight points from six games. Mali international Kalifa Coulibaly is set to lead the hosts’ front line.
