Tonight Tottenham Hotspurs take on Real Madrid at 7.45 on Champions League Matchday 3.
The waiting game is a tough one for spurs who have never beaten Real Madrid in a European Competition; they have faced each other four times, with Real winning three of them.
In fact Zinidine Zidane’s players remain unbeaten in their past 29 Champions League group games, their last defeat dating back to October 2012 away to Borussia Dortmund.
But tonight both teams are in the same place having won their Group H games, scoring 6 goals and conceding one.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has voiced his hopes for Spurs to be a real European Force.
“It is a big opportunity for us to show that we can compete at this level,” he said.
“It is so special to play here in the Champions League. It is a great opportunity for us all and we are so excited.”
