Mohammed Kudus returns to East London following Ghana’s early Afcon exit, whilst Kalvin Phillips could be handed his debut.

He joins Edson Alvarez who returns from a calf injury, whilst Vladimir Coufal and Said Benrahma are both suspended.

Kudus joined the club from Ajax in the summer and has already netted six Premier League goals. The Irons will hope his form will continue as they look to extend their five-game unbeaten run in the league.

Kalvin Phillips could make his debut for West Ham after his loan move from Manchester City. Manager David Moyes is backing him to replicate Jesse Lingard’s successful stint in 2021.

“This time a couple of years ago we got Jesse Lingard, he really helped us. I’m hoping Kalvin can have a similar impact as what Jesse had.”

Phillips will be hoping the move cements his place in the England squad for this summer’s Euros.

Philip Billing returns for the visitors after missing the FA Cup with illness, though midfielder Romain Faivre may not be risked, despite taking part in training.

The match kicks off at 19:30 tonight at the London Stadium.
