Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is asking his side to be more ruthless following their first defeat of the season.

Arsenal will be hosting FC Shakhtar Donetsk at the Emirates Stadium.

Ahead of the 8pm kick-off, manager Mikel Arteta has asked his side to be more ruthless in front of goal.

This comes after the North London team’s 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday. This was Arsenal’s first defeat of the season.

Arteta has also praised FC Shakhtar Donetsk as the Ukrainian team are still competing at the highest level of European football despite the war in Ukraine.

Arsenal’s track record in the current Champions League season includes a 2-0 win against PSG, and a goalless draw against Atalanta.
