Major supermarket retailer Asda has reported another big fall in sales in the third quarter of this year.
Sales not including fuel, fell by five point 8 per cent in the three months to September. The fall was slightly better than the expected fall of seven point five percent.
But Asda’s chief executive Sean Clarke said the company has lowered thousands of prices for customers and invested more hours for colleagues on the shop floor, which has seen more customers shopping in stores and online.
