Just Eat has teamed up with Starships Technologies to deliver its first takeaway meal…by a robot.
It follows five months of “exhaustive testing” in Greenwich, and the takeaway company announced this morning that they plan to roll out the programme across London from January.
Ali of Super Kebab in Hackney said of the announcement, ‘ we are delighted at the news that we’ll be able to add Robot home delivery to our already successful Just Eat service.’
So fear not if you see a determined looking robot wheeling its way past you – it’s probably only a Just Eat delivery.
