At 10:45 the magistrates reached a verdict, denying Mr Abu bail.

The 31-year old Somalian national from Manchester has been charged with 3 counts of assault and 2 counts of criminal damage in relation to his 26 year old ex partner, Miss Yakoo. The defendant has been in an on-off relationship with the victim since 2008 and they share a 2-year old daughter.
The assaults and criminal damage offences are alleged to have taken place at Miss Yakoos home address between the 29th October and the 8th November 2017.
Mr Abu was represented by Miss Dark who applied for bail under the conditions that. the defendant would not enter inside the M25 ring and would not contact Miss Yakoo.
The prosecution, Mr Groves, argued that Mr Abu was likely to commit further offences against an associated person in the case.
At 10:45 the magistrates reached a verdict, denying Mr Abu bail.
The defendant hung his head as the verdict was read out. He will be remanded in custody until his trial on 16th January at Stratford Magistrates Court.
