While the rest 0f the UK braces itself for incidents of sleet, and even snow, the weather in London is set to remain mild.
It has already been one of the mildest autumns on record. And many have been waiting for the winter cold to take hold of London.
But whereas sleet and freezing temperatures are expected for various parts of the UK, London should expect a mild if not slightly chilly end to the week.
Temperatures tonight are expected to fall to around 4C, before remaining mild during the early hours.
Then tomorrow expect highs of up to 10C, though it will be cloudy with a gentle wind throughout the day.
Going into the weekend we can expect a mix of everything.
Saturday will be punctuated with scattered showers, sunny spells, and cloud and wind with temperatures reaching a maximum of 9C.
And then on Sunday those sunny spells should disappear, and the cloud will return. Highs of 9C should feel worse with the wind chill.
Be sure to wrap up warm and enjoy your weekend wherever you are.
